Infectious and Tropical Disease is to organise a
Symposium in Memory of Professor Curtis in
2009. Chris was the first Patron of
REMIT Rotarians Eliminating Malaria in Tanzania
and will be sadly missed by us all for his
enthusiasm, diligence, helpfulness and
understanding in his committed sphere.

World Malaria Day - local Rotarian offers shop window
to display Malaria net and associated items. Followed
by a television news programme of the Malaria
work being undertaken by Rotary.
Local Rotarian has an at home evening for
World Malaria Day and raises £350 towards
REMIT.

incoming District Governor's and their spouses
at the Rotary International Assembly in San

2006: York Malaria Walk/Race | Adam
Leive, a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar from the
USA studying at the University of York, recently
organized a 5 kilometre race to raise money for
Rotarians Eliminating Malaria in Tanzania
(REMIT).
