Dear Friends,

As Convention approaches I know many of you will be unable to make Los Angeles but you will be there in spirit promoting our Rotary Action Group in your own individual way.

REMaRAG is flourishing and has been assigned booth 1519 in the House of Friendship and will serve as a general meeting place for our members and friends. Anyone willing to man the stand for an hour or so are always welcome, it does mean everyone can then have a wander and attend some plenary and breakout sessions.

Again we shall be sharing our stand with other Malaria groups from around the world - PNG, RAM, CRID, Canada, Tanzania, Uganda, Benin, Cote d'Ivoire, Zambia, Nigeria to name just a few - showing our combined strength in combating these menacing little insects!  Please bring along any suitable material for displaying in the booth, it is your action group so show yourself off!

We again have been assigned a break out session in Room 153B on Tuesday 17th June 1530-1630.  However please drop by the booth before the day in case the room has changed.  Drake has gathered together another very interesting panel of 'experts' and of course there is the opportunity of asking questions.

We have many thousands of supporters and friends of REMaRAG throughout Rotary International battling against Malaria either in raising money or actually distributing nets etc but we could do with more paid up members.  Any drive you can give this aspect of our Action Group would be appreciated - Life membership $100 - Annual dues are also now due please. I will collect money at the Convention or send direct to David.

Drake (Vice Chair) David (Treasurer) Jason (website) and myself (Chair) are pleased to stay in office for another year - because we enjoy our involvement with you - but through the amount of Rotary work undertaken by both Ian and his wife Heather, Ian has reluctantly relinquished the office of Secretary therefore if there is any one in our midst who would like to know more about the role please contact me. Naturally as is most Rotary work it is an honorary  position.

I either look forward to seeing you in Los Angeles or of hearing the good works that you continue  to do in the name of Rotarians Eliminating Malaria a Rotary Action Group - articles for inclusion on our website are always appreciated www.remarag.org

Yours in Rotary Service & Friendship

Brian
